The Woods by Alex Wolfe‑Warman addresses the ongoing debate around Weston Woods and the Iron Age hillfort at Worlebury, photographing a landscape in which ancient earthworks and long‑established woodland coexist. The project, begun before the Covid‑19 pandemic, reflects a growing awareness of how we value and protect green spaces, with Wolfe‑Warman acting as a guide to a place he knows well. Blending photographs of Weston Woods with text and design informed by Tibetan Buddhist philosophy, the book considers how human history, ecology and attention to place intersect. .
In The Woods is published as a 92 page softcover book printed in the UK in four colour digital on 150gsm silk paper. The cover is produced on 270gsm GF Smith Colorplan.
